Youth Soccer
YMCA Soccer is a tremendous program for youth. We serve 3 different age groups (3-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years). The 6 week season takes place at YMCA Camp Clay. All participants will learn and practice the basic rules of the game. Skills are taught based on age.
Our youngest participants learn basic skills with a focus on not using their hands. The 6-8 years old learn more advanced skills working specifically on offensive and defensive positions. 9-12 years old will be prepping their skills for middle school soccer in the future.
All participants will learn teamwork and practices/drills will be age appropriate. The YMCA does not focus on wins and losses but teaching fundamentals and having fun! Participants will receive a T-shirt and an award at the end of the 6 week season.
